The OFX Test Tool generates multiple log files and output files. |
A complete set of output files must be provided for each execution of the test tool that is submitted to Intuit for review. |
This includes the following files:
OFXCertInput file This is the configuration file for your test setup. |
ProfRept.txt This is the profile request/response for your OFX Server. |
LOGXXXXXX.txt XXXXXX is a date/time stamp for the execution of the test. It contains detailed information for each request and response for each test script that was executed. |
Submit the log files to Intuit Implementation Manager for review. Our OFX Server QA test team will analyze them and a defect report will be generated. Generally these defect reports are sent within 1-3 business days of reception of all required output files from the OFX Test Tool.
It is important to note that the only test failures that need to be addressed are the issues listed in the defect report from Intuit. Due to the nature of OFX and the nature of the OFX Test Tool you will not, in all likelihood, ever have a 100% pass rate. Typical implementations have a pass rate of 95% or higher at Level III testing when they complete the Server QA phase of their implementation.
When executing the test tool, all supported OFX functions must be included in each set of log files. For example, if your system will support OFX Statement Download and OFX Bill Payment, then each log file must contain all tests appropriate to the test level you are executing. Intuit will not accept incremental or multiple sets of log files in which each message set is contained in separate log files from separate test execution cycles.
